Whiskytree is seeking an administrative assistant for its San Rafael location. This position provides a rare opportunity to participate in running a business from the ground up.  
 
Duties and Responsibilities
 
Assist management in daily business operations including:
  • Project coordination and time management of working artists
  • Relay of information between clients and working artists
  • Coordination of purchases of company assets and supplies
  • Bookkeeping and expense tracking
  • Company travel arrangements
  • Payroll and benefits processing
  • Filing and documentation
  • Special projects as assigned
Requirements
  • Excellent organizational abilities
  • Strong written and articulate verbal communication skills
  • Solid understanding of arithmetic and basic mathematics through algebra
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Whiskytree is seeking Concept Artists and Apprentice Concept Artists for upcoming projects.

Here at Whiskytree, all of our working artists are Concept Artists.

We make the distinction between design (creation of concept art or other pre-visualization) and execution (creation of the final product, as seen on screen, etc.) when discussing artwork, not when discussing jobs.

This requires our artists to possess a broad skill set, guarantees frequent new challenges, and provides for some incredible creative opportunities. If you are used to working in a more specialized work environment, but have a knack for doing lots of different things, we want to hear from you.
A typical day at Whiskytree includes:

• Design work with Photoshop, Illustrator, ZBrush, XSI, Maya, 3dsMax, or other traditional or digital content creation/manipulation tool, even pencil and paper or Sculpey
• Delivering work within specified time frames
• Working under the direction of an in house supervisor or outside client
• Execution of existing designs for use in final product. Some or all of modeling (hard-surface or organic), texturing. lighting, rendering, painting, compositing, etc.

Qualified candidates have an enthusiastic, problem-solving attitude, constantly seek to learn new things, are able to convey realism in their work, and possess at least 2 of the following:

• 4 years of production design, visual effects, industrial design, illustration, architecture, or related industry experience
• Highly developed traditional art skills
• Advanced digital art/computer graphics skills

A typical day at Whiskytree includes:
